At Lambton, we believe that the outdoor environment is a natural space for learning and development for children of all ages. Outdoor lessons are planned to include discovery, experimentation, learning about the natural world, and engaging in challenging activities.
Being outdoors has a positive impact on children’s sense of well-being and development, and at Lambton we have a large playing field, a wildlife garden with a pond, a copse, a purpose-built enclosed play area and outdoor classrooms.
Our outdoor environments offer pupils the freedom to explore, problem-solve, and be physically active.
