Children from Year 3 to Year 6 study French at least once a fortnight. The lessons are carefully planned to ensure that pupils develop their oral and listening skills in the target language.

Songs, rhymes, games and the opportunity to converse in French are at the forefront of every lesson.

Each child has a learning journey book which details their progress, and there is more focus on writing in French by Year 5 and Year 6.
